OK guys and gals…. Following our concert at Needingworth last week we’ve at last managed to start mixing the recordings from the gig. We have 2 finished with more to follow…
The songs are Astronomy Domine, and Let There Be More Light actually the first 2 songs we performed. Both of these are being made available for FREE via our website. Just go to the shop where you can snaffle both of these tracks for nowt.
So, it’s the aftermath of Needingworth and the general concensus from all is that it was a resounding success. Obviously there were “teething issues”, but generally the show went as planned and the response from the Needingworth crowd was very positive. The set played was fairly split between early and late Floyd material opening with Astronomy Domine and following that with Let There Be More Light from the Saucerful Of Secrets album. The full set list played can be viewed by visiting the gig list page.
We will return to Needingworth in 2020, but at this stage we’re now looking forward to Christmas, and recharging our batteries after a manic few months preparing for Needingworth. The whole show was recorded, and we’ll be making selected songs from the show available for FREE download as soon as they’ve been mixed. Watch this space
For 2020 we’ll be working on new material in the first few months, and we start playing live again at the end of March. Keep an eye on the live page for info regarding smaller low key gigs, some of which will be free entry.
